Greg Bahnsen/Gordon Stein Debate audio CDs

The Greg Bahnsen vs. Gordon Stein debate should be "required listening" for every Christian interested in "being ready to give a reason for the hope that you have" in obedience to 1 Peter 3:15.   Dr. Bahnsen's humble, gracious, and charitable spirit towards atheist Dr. Stein is clearly evident in the debate, a rare quality that is often missing from many "Christian apologists," despite the overlooked fact that the last part of 1 Peter 3:15 actually commands it.   A written transcript of the debate is available here.  Dr. Bahnsen was a brilliant Christian apologist, and his faithfulness to Christ in the midst of painful, grievous personal tragedy is a mark of Christian maturity.  May I encourage everyone to take advantage of Covenant Media Foundation's free offer of this historic Bahnsen-Stein debate?  You will not be disappointed.

The audio CDs are of decent quality. I have listened to them over and over. Bahnsen clearly won the debate, but he did so in a fashion that honored Jesus Christ.

on a Bahnsen related note, his son is going to start doing some published writing on Ron Paul and 3rd parties down the road, as in Anti-Ron Paul. I think its much needed, much of the reformed 'religious right' are either on the paul bandwagon or flirting with him. They think he's a 'constitutionalist' and beleive lies like the war in iraq is illegal, etc...ross perot 2.0...

great debate indeed...
