The reason men don't go to church

ColtsFan and I discuss this quite a bit. The solutions proposed are the almost the exact opposite of what evangelicals do.

If homosexual marriage gains widespread acceptance then I predict that the "roughly 30% of American men [who] attend church on a regular basis" will drop to less than 10% very quickly.

USA Today had an article on this a couple of weeks back. The pictures of the guys in the article looked teh ghay. My wife got mad at me for judging solely on looks. I told her that when you tell a guy to go dress up real macho (macho was what they were trying to pull off in their church)- he doesn't put on sandals. She got mad again. I tho't the whole concept was stupid, kinda like cowboy-themed churches seem stupid. Jesus, Paul, Peter, Timothy didn't do themed churches. Oh, I forgot. People are different now. We have to reach them where they are.

I agree. I think evangelicalism has caught teh ghey. I've never seen so many dandies and clotheshorses as I have at certain evangelical churches.
