Introducing Spengler

(h/t SRGood) This is a good read.  What Putin should have said to Bush last month.  Alas, Russia will be around long after the United States, I'm sure.  Putin even gets it about the Serbian/Kosovar Albanian situation as well.  I've gotta admit, better a wise Putin than a foolish Bush.

For the next war (Iran?) I have an idea how to pay for it. Put little cameras on all the vehicles and some on helmets and charge for pay-for-view live during the war. Sell package deals like the olympics.

Internet wagering. "I got to hurry home after work the battle for Tehran begins tonight".

As far as the conversation between Bush and Putin, that must have been on an incredible intellectual plane. I am still listening for Bush to say six words together without a pause to stare blankly at the audience.

A couple of freckles and we have Alfred E. Newman.

That was hilarious! He doesn't have the most agile mind, does he?

In all seriousness, there's not a bunch of Chaldean Christians dead or on the run because of Putin. Blame for that falls squarely on Bush's shoulders. And Spengler is right, Putin is way more popular in the Muslim world even after wiping out 100,000 Chechans.

I doubt it. Russia is falling to pieces and the US solid in comparison.
