I got to once again experience the joys of an exploding Mexican demographic last night as several gunshots were fired on the corner next to my apartment building.  I don't want to repeat the story I told the cops last night, but suffice it to say, it originated at the same address the SWAT team raided last year, then proceeded down the alley where one of the guys started to beat up his hyna.  That's pretty much all I saw as I was fumbling for the phone to call the cops.

My Mexican neighbor next door told me he had moved out of his neighborhood to avoid all of this, because almost everyone there was gang-affiliated.  Looks like he didn't move far enough.  Can anyone nowadays?  We're Rome.
